Our SASDS Team

The SASDS Team now has a new look!

We now have not one President but 2. The Co-Presidents for 2025 will be shared with Carolyn and Sarah. Helen Vaughan is our new VicePresident, who has been a strong supporter of SASDS for many years as Mum of a dancer and also through her participation as a SASDS Committee member for 5 years. Returning to the executive this year is Aichi Chong as Secretary and Kym Carter as Treasurer. Our Committee also has the support of Andrea, Nan and Jenny. We have a new committee member, Amanda, who some of you may know through her daughter’s interest in Musical Theatre.

If you would like a further ‘run down’ of our wonderful Committee, head to our socials! We thank them all for volunteering their time, dedication and passion to make SASDS great for all of you.

What fees can I expect?

  • Solos, Duo/Trios and Troupes: $30 per entry

  • Championships: $50 (Except for Little Stars and Future Stars: $30) per entry

  • SASDS Admin Fee: $25 (one PER family)

  • Service Fee: $6 per solo/duo/trio performer
    Teachers entering Troupes are charged a one off $6 Service Fee.
    Service fee is charged by the Developer BUT includes music uploads, competition app with a live program, voice crits and live results.

  • Stripe Fee: is approx 1.02 % for online card payment facility.

  • Fees are to be settled with entries to confirm your entry.

  • We have a WAITLIST, please make sure you use this.


Follow these steps:

  • Step 1. Fill in your email address twice and click on Send Code.

  • Step 2. Enter Code sent to your email address (check spam folder if you haven’t received it after a minute or two).

  • Step 3. You are now on the homepage. If you are on Apple devices click on the ‘square with the arrow up’ icon (at the bottom of your screen on iPhone or iPad, at the top of the screen on computer) and choose ‘Add to Home Screen’ or ‘Add to Dock’. This will make an app icon for easy logins. If you are on Android, click on the menu on the top right of your screen and choose ‘Add to Home Screen’.

  • Step 4. Check Competition Info and Sections – You can do this prior to entries opening!

  • Step 5. Fill out Declarations and Mandatory questions (Agree and Save).

  • Step 6. Register your contact details.

  • Step 7. Go to Competitors at the bottom of the screen and add the competitors you wish to enter.

  • Step 8. When entries open, go tothe app, click on the Large blue rectangle with the word ‘Enter’ towards the bottom of the screen. Click on the competitor you wish to enter at the top of that page and choose the sections you wish to enter. Ensure you have chosen sections with the correct age group for that competitor. Age is taken at 1 of January this year. Entries may be waitlisted when particular sections are full. st

  • Step 9. Continue to Payment to confirm your entries.

  • Step 10. Review your entries from the home page.

 

NEW Novice Age Group

We created a new Novice Age Group for 6 & U/8's

Sections for this age group will be:

  • Classical Ballet

  • Tap

  • Character/Demi-Character

  • Jazz

  • Lyrical

  • Song & Dance or Song & Tap

  • Contemporary

  • Musical Theatre/Broadway Jazz
